Guestbook MimosaWe had a wonderful time and absolutely loved Mimosa (and Kotor!). I hope we'll have a chance to visit again before too long. Thank you again. Fijn appartement met goede uitrusting en alles werkt. We hebben lekker aan de overkant van de weg gezeten bij de grote boom en we zijn veel tochtjes wezen maken... Perfekt is de lokatie, zo dicht bij de oude stad. Jammer vonden we de hele drukke weg voor Mimosa. Prachtig land trouwens... en wat hoog overal ! .. mooie tocht gemaakt naar Lovcen en ook het Klooster van Ostrog hebben we bekeken. Onze telefoons werkten niet in Montenegro. Pas later hoorden we dat we dan een speciale kaart hadden moeten kopen ofzo.. we hebben prepaid telefoons. Verder heel fijn gehad.. we zijn nog een paar dagen in Sutomore verbleven en 4 dagen in Dubrovnik. Misschien wel tot volgend jaar! Heel erg bedankt dat alles zo goed verzorgd was! Anka arranged two great trips for us, one to the mountains where we had a wonderful lunch and one to Skadar lake. Took Red Taxi into Budva Old town (15 EUR) each way which we thoroughly enjoyed as Budva is really beautiful and clean. Galion and Pasteria restaurants were very nice indeed. Would really recommend. Found the busy road and pavements tricky, especially at night. Would be nice to have a proper pavement to walk on. Overall, brilliant holiday. Anka is such a help. Next stop Dubrovnik, bye bye Kotor. Julie S, Norway We hebben een fijne vakantie doorgebracht in Kotor. Montenegro is een prachtig land. We vonden het zeer de moeite waard en hebben in een korte tijd veel gezien en beleefd. Kotor is mooi en het uitzicht vanuit het huisje is bijzonder. Het appartement is heel comfortabel, goed ingericht, alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig en zelfs meer dan dat (t.v., dvd speler, spelletjes, boeken etc.). Het terras voor het appartement is ook een pre. Het is wel jammer dat er een nogal drukke weg voor het terras langs loopt. Omdat er langs de kust veel nieuwbouw gepleegd wordt hadden we nogal last van zwaar bouwverkeer. Hopelijk wordt dat minder wanneer de diverse bouwprojecten afgerond zijn. Anka heeft ons goed geholpen bij het aanmelden bij de politie. Na vier keer een poging gewaagd te hebben ons aan te melden bij "de buren" heeft zij het voor ons op ons verzoek geregeld. Mimosa is brilliant; a great location and very comfortable (much nicer than our own homes!). Enjoyed clambering up to the forts, wandering around the old town (including beer stops), trips to Cetinje and Budva and revelling with the teenagers in the noisy bars. Winkeltje op 20m afstand waar je alle dagelijkse boodschappen kunt krijgen waaronder een 2 liter fles Pivo (bier) voor maar E 1,70! Ook hebben we vele gezellige uurtjes vertoefd op het ruime terras waar we regelmatig een leuk gesprekje konden maken met buurman Vladimir en zijn zoon Petr en dochter Neda die bij hem op vakantie waren. Onze dochters gingen regelmatig met hem vissen aan de oever van de baai aan de overkant van de straat. Ook de poesjes en hond Brita van de andere buren waren zeer populair bij onze kinderen. Geweldig mooi land, bergweggetje naar Cetinje zeer aan te bevelen, prachtig uitzicht over de baai, echter niet geschikt voor onervaren automobilisten! Verder nog legio andere dingen te ondernemen zoals boottocht over Skadarmeer, plaza ploce ( afgelegen baai met prachtig aangelegde terrassen) 4km voor Budva aan de Adriatische zee, enz. En niet te vergeten het idyllische Kotor zelf op loopafstand met goede restaurants, gezellige nauwe straatjes met winkels en terrasjes. 'S avonds gezellig Pivo drinken op het terras en nadenken over de fantastische ervaringen die wij hebben mee gemaakt. Een tip voor toekomstige bezoekers die op zoek zijn naar een goed restaurant: La Pasteria! Goede bediening en geweldig eten. Montenegro - Kotor is zeker een van de mooiste plaatsen waar ik ben geweest! Daarom zullen we proberen zo snel mogelijk terug te komen - het liefst in de zomer natuurlijk! You have a lovely apartment & we enjoyed our stay very much although there was a slight mix up at the beginning as Anka didn't turn up to give us the key and my cell phone wouldn't work in Montenegro. Very Best Wishes, Jane Simmonds, UK Bedankt voor het terug storten van de borg. We hebben erg genoten in je huis. Prachtig gemoderniseerd en heerlijk koel. Kotor is erg mooi en gezellig. Met de auto naar het nationaal park Levice geweest. Budva ook erg mooi. We hebben kennis gemaakt met je buurman Vladimir, een gastvrije en erg vriendelijke man. Konden zelfs zijn bootje of fiets wel lenen. Je kunt redelijk Engels met hem spreken. Wat opviel was dat de mensen erg vriendelijk zijn en gastvrij. Zijn zelfs nog met hem op de laatste dag een paar huizen wezen kijken. Wat ons opvalt is dat de bevolking erg aardig is en behulpzaam. We hebben in een woord: GENOTEN!!! Het reizen met Thomascook(belgie) ging trouwens ook goed. We zijn vanuit Brussel vertrokken en hadden een directe vlucht op Tivat. We hopen nog een keer terug te komen in dit heerlijke land. The wall looks spectacular lit up at night and Kotor Stari Grad is a very lively place both in the day and in the evening. Had a hectic but enjoyable holiday. There is so much to see in Montenegro. Kotor is very beautiful and very lively in the evenings at the weekend. Comfortable apartment, welcome to IKEA living, better then the brochure. The black and white cat is very friendly and likes to jump onto your lap for a snooze. We have named him/her Joey. We will come to Montenegro again soon. Anka helped organise a wonderful trip into the mountains for us, the views were breathtaking. Kotor town has given us many delightly days and evenings with many good meals enjoyed in the excellent restaurants. We loved the patio and were adopted by the local cats, as we breakfasted out there every day. Kotor city was fantastic especially seeing it lit up at night when we arrived. Superb views! We had a wonderful and comfortable stay at Mimosa. The scenary and views are breath taking. The apartment is in a prime position for the new Marina. Clearance of all the rubbish around the old Hotel Fjord started on Monday this week and many people we spoke to believe work on the development will start this winter. Sandra was very welcoming upon our arrival and checked with us twice during our stay to make sure everything was OK. Apart from the very neat and cute house I enjoyed the absolute breathtaking surroundings? the lake at my front door snugly in between high mountains, shops and cafes at walking distance all complete with an abundance of sunshine is something I'll never forget.
